Trevor apparently noticed the change in Frederick. He smiled and said, "I'm really contended to see you guys so happy! I'll leave you guys to yourselves then!"

Upon raising his hand, he placed it around Alicia's neck and dotingly touched her little face. He said with his tongue in the cheek, "Don't follow my path! I won't keep you on this occasion!"
