Victoria was exhausted from Trevor's acts!

No matter how stupid he was, Trevor could clearly sense the indifferent expression on Victoria's face at that very moment. The car was driving slowly and neither of them spoke along the way.

As soon as they passed the gate, Victoria jumped out of the car and strode upstairs.

He threw the keys to the servant. Upon listening to the hurried sound of the stomping, Trevor was just looking at the empty stairs and was momentarily lost in thought.

Was she still angry with him because of the thing that happened on New Year's Eve?

As soon as he entered the room, Victoria happened to be taking out her pajamas. Upon seeing Trevor, she hastened and ran to the bathroom. It was as if she was afraid that he would walk into it ahead of her. With a wry smile, Trevor took a few big steps and reached out to stop her before she went into the bathroom.

"Vicky?" Trevor called out to her.

How unwilling was she to see him?

Upon seeing Victoria grabbing her clothes, he stopped moving and didn't have any reaction. Trevor slowly took a step forward and hugged her. "I'll arrange more time for in the future. I won't make it difficult for you ever again! Don't be angry during the New Year, okay?" Trevor said.

Everything was still fine before he mentioned it. As soon as he brought it up, Victoria was even angrier. Victoria would've been the happiest during that time of the year. However, that year turned out to be the worst! Not to mention that he was the one who forced her into that situation, but he even needed her to lower herself to withhold the reputation of their family!

She turned around and swung her fist to give him a beating.

"I'm angry! I'm angry! I'm so pissed off! Why did you pick me up? Why did you even deprive me of my last bit of happiness? You do know that it's New Year's Eve, and it's the day of the family reunion, don't you? Why can't you even put up with it for a little while?" Victoria yelled.

Why had things gotten so bad? If both families didn't know about the marriage, perhaps she didn't have to care about it so much. Then she wouldn't have to be so tolerant and so uncomfortable. She couldn't wait for him to have affairs with other women. Perhaps then she could get out of this dark life.

Her heart seemed to be tied up by something. It became tighter and tighter. Victoria felt a little breathless. Her eyes were slightly red as her tears began to swirl in her eyes. However, she held back her tears in anger.

She didn't want to shed her tears either for herself or forthat kind of man!

Upon seeing how aggrieved she was, the scene where Frederick and Alicia were having fun suddenly appeared in his mind. Trevor's heart was really painful and he couldn't help but reflected upon himself.

Had he really committed the most heinous crime?

Wasn't the little woman in his arms as enchanting as that woman?

The marriage between them was finalized in a hurry. It was very difficult for Victoria to adapt to a life with the extra shackle on her. In fact, Trevor also wasn't accustomed to changing his former way of doing things. "If I get you a dog, will you be happy and not be angry anymore?" Trevor asked. As soon as Trevor finished his words, Victoria was so angry that she almost spat out a mouthful of blood.

The flowers didn't work, so was he planning to get her a dog instead? Was that how he coaxed a woman?
