After gaining her composure, Waverly blushed under his gaze and slightly fiddled her hands. As soon as she was about to speak, Wyatt turned and strode away.

"Hey, hmm..."

She took a short pause before she ran over to chase after him: "Can you... spare me two minutes?"

"Could you just let me have a few words?"

Running, she circled around him. Waverly attempted to reach out her hands but she dared not even touch his sleeves. Her brother had a similar habit, and he didn't like physical contact with strangers, not even someone touching his shirt. He would want to get rid of it as he would think that it's filthy. Hence, while chasing after him, Waverly adhered strictly to one principle... she would only speak, but would never have any physical contact.

She chased after him anxiously. Waverly's breathing was inconsistent, and it was obvious that she was wobbling. He was not bothered at all. Not to mention that he wasn't talking to her, he wouldn't even glance at her.

Turning his body sideways, he went into the restroom. On the other end, Waverly who had run a long way suddenly came to a halt. She rubbed her face in embarrassment.

She had never done such an outrageous thing in her life!

Waverly was extremely embarrassed and couldn't take it anymore. She made up her mind to just give up. However, just when she took her first step, she saw a proud face, and she suddenly felt her legs getting heavy.

She shifted from one end of the hallway to the other and deviated her gaze to the corner. Another burst of laughter emerged behind her.

"Stop teasing her. Let's go! She might have come with her parents, so don't cause any trouble!"

While speaking, the two men had already strode away.

Waverly's face was burning hot. Noticing that she was left alone then, she turned around and ran towards the other end. After all, she was facing directly at the male washroom, so it would have been extremely embarrassing if she happened to see something which she wasn't supposed to see.

Returning to her original position, Waverly lay her back against the wall, took a deep breath, and patted her chest which was beating profusely. At that time, she heard another subtle sound of water running. After the several disappointments she encountered, she could no longer tell the number of people who were walking out from the footsteps. Hence, that time, she didn't even flinch.

There was a person at the door. As soon as he walked out, Wyatt was also startled: Was it her again? Why did she come back?

The shadow of the person stopped moving, and Waverly lazily glanced towards it from the corner of her eyes. She immediately noticed her target and straightened her body. Her dark eyes were gleaming.

Looking away from her, Wyatt walked past her again.

Waverly kept on chasing after him. That time, Waverly gathered her courage and said,

"Mr. Johnson, my name is Waverly. I am Franklin's fiancee. Regarding the issue about the Wright High Group's cell phone chipset, can you please give us a chance?"

She hoped that he wouldn't resort to legal means. If this was being brought to court, the Wright High Group would be doomed!
