She raised her hand and forcefully wiped the corner of her lips. Tears rolled down her cheeks in a flash.

As she turned around, Waverly grabbed the bag by her side and ran outside the door. Wyatt then tugged at the corner of his mouth, completely lost in his thoughts. He couldn't help but think about the aftertaste.

Suddenly, there came a burst of crackling sounds followed by the noisy voice of a woman.

"Ack" The voice sounded.

"Miss, are you alright? Ah, your clothes..." Another lady sounded.

Then, he heard the sound of kicking and footsteps rushing down the stairs

As he slowly walked out, Wyatt looked up and saw the servants on the corridor picking up the trays. At that moment, a white figure had dashed out of the building.

After rushing out of the door in one breath, Waverly kept wiping the corners of her mouth. "B*stard! B*stard! Pervert! You're a pervert!" She cried out loud into the open.

The rain was still pattering on her body but she paid it no mind.

As soon as she looked up, she noticed that the street was empty. There was no one in sight, let alone a taxi. In an instant, her stream of tears flowed even more vigorously.

"What should I do? It's so dark. Do I still go out?" Waverly thought to herself.

As she pulled her jacket off, Waverly sniffed sadly, her eyes a wet shade of red. Then, an idea came to mind, and she took out her mobile phone to call Franklin. When she found his number, her gaze fell on her half-exposed calf.

What would he think if he saw her like this? How would she explain it?

She bellowed in her heart.

She sniffled and turned off her cell phone. It was already midnight - what could she do? It was too late and it wasn't safe to take a taxi. Who could she trouble? Should she stay here until dawn?

Large teardrops slowly rolled down her cheeks. "Dad, Harry, I miss you..." Waverly cried to herself as she thought about how she was being bullied.

Waverly pursed her lips and continued sniffing; her sinus was acting up because of how hard she was

crying.

"You b*stard, how dare you take advantage of me? If I was in Yecaeus City, I would've let Harry beat you till you're toothless! I'd peel off your skin bit by bit." Waverly thought to herself.

Just as she was angrily crushing a leaf on the ground, a black figure suddenly descended. She raised her hand and retreated three steps back.

Ivan reached out with an umbrella. "Miss, don't be afraid. I mean no harm!" He informed her.

She held her chest that was thumping wildly. At that moment, everyone was gangsters to her -even the man before her seemed to be from the Johnson family!

Just as she was wondering about this, the soft voice of the butler came once more. "Every visitor is an honored guest and we have to treat them well! I'm the butler of Johnson Manor, and I'm just on my way to pick someone up at the airport. Can I give you a ride?" He offered.

As he spoke to her, Ivan thought anxiously to himself, "Don't refuse me, please don't refuse me. Otherwise, I'd have to think of another excuse to send her back!"

As they were talking, a black car had slowly driven out.

The sky was extremely dark and the rain didn't stop until her dried clothes were wet once again. Waverly, who had been wandering around aimlessly, finally nodded and bowed.

"Thank you!" Getting a lift should be fine, as long it took her up to the main road!

"Miss, you're welcome. This way, please!" Ivan said.

Ivan opened the back door of the car as he held an umbrella for her. Waverly instinctively paused and suddenly remembered something.

"I can't cut it but I can definitely stomp on it!" She thought to herself.

She then tossed the shirt onto the ground and trampled over it a few times. Unsatisfied, she found a pen and doodled turtles on the shirt. After she felt relieved, she threw the shirt into a basket, yawned and climbed up to bed. She fell asleep soon after.

After leaving the hospital and returning home, Victoria rested at home for a few more days.

When she awoke, she felt that her strength had recovered. She got up and stretched her body, hearing the cracks of her bones and muscles. She ran around the courtyard and soon got hungry. Therefore, she went back into the house. She didn't bother the servants and went straight into the kitchen. It was only half- past ten in the morning; it wasn't time for lunch just yet. The kitchen and dining table were empty. After looking around, she saw that no one was around. She then took out a small box from the cabinet, which contained all the snacks she had saved and previously bought from the supermarket.

She rummaged through the food and found a small bag that was filled with beef jerkys. Since she couldn't eat spicy food, she figured that the original flavor would do just fine!

She pinched it and found it quite soft and delightful. She then tore it open with a hand on one end while she put the other end between her teeth. In an instant, her round eyes narrowed into a shallow crescent. Just as she was about to bite into the beef, she heard a voice behind her.

"What are you doing?" The icy voice sounded.

With a conditioned reflex, Victoria instantly hid her hands behind her back. She turned around and looked at the man. "It's nothing..."

Didn't he go to work?

Trevor strode forward, giving her a cold look. "Why aren't you getting out of the way?" He asked.

He saw it all!

As she moved away slowly, he saw a storage box on the table. It was filled with snacks, with some placed on the table.

"Beef jerky, sweets, and potato chips?" Trevor

questioned.
