On the same day, Trevor was jolted awake by a hit. The next second, he heard a thud. He hurriedly switched on the lights and saw Victoria had fallen off the bed. She didn't get up and just kept groaning in pain.

He touched her forehead again. She was still sweating. He reached out for the thermometer and took her temperature; it was still nearly 39 degrees.

How could it go down so little? She wasn't even sweating as much anymore, but why wasn't she getting better?

"This won't do!" He concluded.

Then, he picked up his phone.

Soon, Carson came over with a medical kit. He checked her body and then inserted an IV into her arm.

"What's the matter? Why is she sweating so much? Why wouldn't she wake up? Is she okay?"

After getting up and adjusting himself, Carson looked over to Trevor.

"She has a fever and is sweating profusely. She seemed to be frightened and was very troubled by nightmares. Hence, she was protecting herself and resisting whatever she was scared of subconsciously; but her resistance was weak, causing this to happen! What on earth is she afraid of? Why is she so tense? It was even difficult for me to insert the needles! The bruise on her arm seemed to be caused by a bump, a hard bump-" Carson explained.

saw it.
