After dinner, Frederick was called to the room by Mrs. Clements. Before he turned around, he drove Alicia into the bedroom, for fear that she would eat something which she was not supposed to!

In fact, Alicia no longer had an appetite because of the incident at the dining table. She wouldn't be able to eat even if she was given a king's meal.

In the room, Alicia was really angry. She felt that he had gone too far! She tried to tolerate his cold behavior again and again, but he did not respect her at all. He despised her when they were alone, and even when other people were around too!

It was very uncomfortable, especially when she was scolded by the person closest to her. Alicia felt bad. Although in the past two years, she had no time to date, nor did she want to date, everyone around her had not criticized her like that. Why did he despise her so much?

Was he out of his mind? There must be something wrong with him!

Alicia got really sad and mad in the room. She felt thoroughly defeated by him!

When Frederick entered the room, he was just scolded by his grandmother. He was in a bad mood too, and he looked at Alicia with glaring eyes.

The car sped all the way downtown and arrived at an urban area. Frederick found a spot by the side of a street and stopped the car.

"Five o'clock, I will be back to pick you up!"

The implication was that she could do whatever she wanted!

She was too lazy to talk to him. She snorted and pushed the door open. Then, she jumped down. She scolded in her heart, "Who cares?"

At this moment, the two of them were sick of each other. When she did not even turn around to look at him, Frederick subconsciously clenched his fists and held the steering wheel a little bit tighter. He felt very uncomfortable in his heart.

Soon, he started the car and drove to the other side of the street.

After being carefree for once, Alicia felt a little relaxed but she was unhappy.

She wanted to get along with him. She had even tried her best in the past two days. She stood in front of the bus stop and kicked in a fit. Alicia felt that she must be crazy to sympathize with him!

If he wanted to be angry, she would not care about him!

After getting on the bus, Alicia first went to the sanatorium. After visiting her father, she went to see Doctor Lewis and learned about his situation.

The doctor took out an X- ray and gave her an explanation.

"Miss Blanchard, the blood clot in your father's brain has obviously cleared up. Although it is slow, this is a very good reaction which shows that he is recovering. The frequency of his brainwaves has obviously changed, thus, the plan is feasible. I have asked your mother to record some conversations about the past so that when she is not around, he can still listen to her voice regularly.
