"Okay."

Leaning against his chest gently, for the first time, Lauren could clearly feel the powerful aura from his body, which made her burst with joy. With his presence here, even though they were outnumbered by the enemy, Lauren didn't feel afraid at all. Even the blind could see that the people present seemed to be quite afraid of him.

No wonder people would kill to get to the top!

Lauren looked up and saw Trevor. Only then did she realize that there was also a similarly outstanding helper supporting him from the back. They were both famously outstanding individuals, and they seemed to have a close relationship.

As soon as she looked away, something unexpected happened again. Hallie, who was frowning and glaring at her few moments ago started whining.

"Please, you're my brother!"

Instantly, Lauren's widened eyes turned to Trevor. "What? They're siblings? No wonder she knows Willy!"

Why wasn't she on the same side as Willy though?

Just as she began to wonder, Trevor's cold reaction gave her an answer. "Why didn't you stay at home? What are you doing here?"

What was wrong with her? As a married woman, why did she have to provoke Willy's woman? Recalling the scene he saw when he entered the door, and how Hallie once loved Willy for so many years, Trevor felt a headache brewing.

Although he didn't like Hallie and didn't like getting associated with her, she was still a blood relative. Thus, he was more courteous to her than Frederick was. At least, he still showed respect when interacting with her.

Perhaps knowing what Trevor meant, Hallie grew even more annoyed. She slightly hung her head and explained, "Trevor, today is Laven's cousin's engagement party..."

As a cousin-in-law, how could she not come to help?

She glared at Lauren - everything was all messed up by this d*mn woman!

Hallie was already displeased. After learning that Lauren was the girlfriend of the man she loved for years but couldn't get, and seeing how gentle and thoughtful he was to her, paired with the fact that her own husband was not by her side at such a time, she was extremely furious.

She had always had a good eye! But why did Willy just refuse to give her a chance? Why did he fall in love with this b*tch instead? It was obvious that she had an affair with Zedd! She was not goodlooking either; her femininity was barely even present!

Looking at Lauren from head to toe, Hallie thought she was an eyesore.

"Right, so go on ahead!"

They all had a rough understanding of each other's relationship. Only Lauren was confused. When she walked out, she was still dizzy! Willy held her all the way, while giving her a brief explanation of the situation.

It was only then did she start to comprehend what had happened. She secretly breathed a sigh of relief and patted her chest gently. "Thank God! I thought I got you into trouble!" She thought to herself

If she caused a conflict between him and his friends, it would be really her fault! It was not worth doing this for a man like Zedd!

Thinking of the past, Lauren's eyes automatically feared up. Although she wasn't the most emotionally intelligent person in the room, she was far from being stupid.

Willy fondled her beautiful hair and entered the banquet hall. He led her to the rest area and brought her over to the high chair by the bar.

"Sit down and get some rest. Don't overexert yourself!"

Unfamiliar with this kind of situation, she thought that it would be best if she could sit still. Hence, she nodded and said, "And some fruits! Tomatoes, too!"

"Sure!"

Willy got up and went to the self- service area nearby.

Since she had nothing to do, Lauren looked around once more before fishing her phone out, and started playing a small game of "Maze". Perhaps it was because of her profession's acumen, she successfully completed the game in just one round. Looking up, she saw Willy still standing near the self-service area. Lauren then lowered her head again. This time around, she decided to play a different game - "Spot the Difference".

After finding two differences, the game ended! She played three more times in a row, but got bored before the third round even finished. Lauren could not help but heave a sigh of frustration.

Suddenly, she felt a pain in her neck. She glanced at the empty space next to her. Why was he so slow? Had the snail lost his way?

Looking up, she saw a tall, beautiful woman standing next to Willy. She was wearing a cross-backed dress that fell just before her knees. She was saying something to Willy, and the two looked rather intimate. Her gaze then fell on the woman's hair that reached her chest, and then on Willy who was talking and laughing. Lauren suddenly felt a pang in her heart.

Then, she turned her gaze back to her phone.

She switched back to the "Maze" game and started playing again. No matter how she tried, she just couldn't complete the new round she was on. The harder she tried, the more dizzy she felt. Soon, she came to a dead end in the game which meant that she had failed her round.

Frustrated, she let out a sigh. She unconsciously looked at them again. At that moment, Willy was still there, but the woman next to him was gone. However, in her place stood a pair of sexy twins in red dresses.

A pair of attractive, identical twins! It was impossible not to notice them, even amongst the crowd. They were tooo unique and eye-catching.
