Declan glanced at the document, and his expression shifted instantly. "Mr. Lyle, what's this supposed to mean? A divorce agreement? What, you want my wife too?"

Ambrose nearly toppled out of his chair in shock. He quickly stood up and slapped Declan across the face.

"Don't drag me into your mess if you're looking to die!" he snapped.

Then, he shoved the divorce papers at him. "You're signing this today, whether you like it or not. Let me tell you, you've messed with the wrong person."

"What are you doing? Without her, how am I supposed to make money?" Declan asked defiantly.

Ambrose's eyes flashed with disdain. "Some man you are. Fine. Since you're hell-bent on getting yourself killed, I won't get in your way."

Declan smirked. "Come on, Mr. Lyle. Just tell me—how much did Bridget pay you? Don't worry. I'll deal with her when I get home."

"I don't think you can go home."

The door swung open, and Alden strode in.

Ambrose hurried over. "Mr. Ellison, what brings you here in person?"

Alden shot him a cold glance. "Cut the crap. I just want the divorce agreement."

"Understood!" Ambrose nodded and didn't dare to go against him. "What are you waiting for? Give Declan some 'treatment'!"

"Mr. Ashcroft, it's done. Should I bring it to you?" Alden spoke in a low voice.

"Of course," Alden replied before hanging up.

"He's at the hospital, but she can head to the family court to file the paperwork. Once the divorce is finalized, we'll make sure he leaves Qranross for good," Alden said with a grin.

"Good." Daniel nodded.

Alden was thorough with his work. Knowing Daniel's temperament, he dropped off the documents and left.

Daniel handed her the youth cream. "Take this and use it. Oh, and here's the divorce agreement. Take tomorrow off and finalize your divorce with Declan."
