"By the rules, the Immortal Syndicate cannot refuse any request made by the holder of a Golden Immortal Token," Isaac explained with a wry smile. "To be honest, this is the first time I've seen a real one in all these years."

Daniel wasn't the type to exploit privileges for small gains. Besides, it wouldn't be wise to push things too far and risk offending the Immortal Syndicate.

"Could this be just a flashy item with no real value?" he scoffed.
