Standing tall, Ernest looked at Bryson and narrowed his eyes, saying, "Looks like you've recognized me."

"Oh, Mr. Crane! M-May I ask what you need from me?" Bryson immediately relaxed upon seeing Ernest's face.

He was confident they weren't here to kill him. After all, a prestigious boss like him wouldn't act so recklessly.

"I heard you have something against Daniel Ashcroft," Ernest asked with a chuckle.

"Daniel? That scoundrel stole my family's property. To be honest, I can hardly contain my hatred—I wish I could make him pay for this with his life!"

Bryson was no fool. He knew he had to answer it this way when Ernest asked.

"Great! If that's the case, I'll give you a chance!" Ernest nodded with satisfaction.

This incident had certainly angered the Cranes, and given Daniel's unique identity, the Cranes couldn't confront him directly. Instead, they resorted to methods aimed at weakening his influence.

After hanging up the phone, Daniel contacted Oscar again. Once he confirmed that Oscar was ready, he knew he could patiently wait for the prey to take the bait.

"Where are they?" Bridget questioned coldly.

Cillian shook his head. "They took leave yesterday and haven't come back since."

She huffed, realizing that they were hiding something. Otherwise, she would've known the production materials had all run out!

She had no choice but to call Daniel, taking all the blame. "I'm so sorry, Mr. Ashcroft. I was careless. Our factory is facing a shutdown now."

"I'll come right over!" He ended the call soon after.

Bridget felt an overwhelming sense of guilt. Daniel had entrusted the company to her because he believed in her, yet such a big issue had happened, and she hadn't known anything about it!
