Solomon lounged lazily in his chair.

But the phone on the desk rang before he could flirt with his secretary, Brielle Coffey.

"Hello?" Solomon answered the call, then suddenly leaned forward, his head dropping into her chest. "Are you sure it's Daniel? That fool? Ha! This is something new!"

His eyes gleamed, and a sinister smile spread across his face. "Let him in."

"Mr. Walsh, who is it?" Brielle asked, curious.

Solomon scratched his head and stood up. "A fool! I thought today would be boring, but now, we can have fun."

"A fool?" She paused, then chuckled softly.

Daniel didn't expect Solomon to let him into the company immediately.

Though Solomart had been significantly renovated, the upper floors hadn't changed much, and as he walked through the building, memories slowly resurfaced.

Pushing open the general manager's office door, he found Solomon still cozying up to Brielle.

She instinctively nudged Solomon. "Mr. Walsh, someone's here."

Solomon looked up. When he saw Daniel, he froze for a moment, then sneered. "Oh? You're looking pretty sharp today. Looks like Jennifer's trying something new."

He hugged Brielle and then walked toward Daniel, clicking his tongue. "No wonder Jennifer liked you back then. Your build and physique are truly enviable."

"Mr. Walsh, is this… the one they talk about?" Brielle asked, astonished as she eyed Daniel.

Wasn't Daniel supposed to be a fool? Why did he look so handsome and strong?

Solomon shot Brielle a furious look. "Little slut, are you tempted?"

"If it weren't for Jennifer stopping me back then, you would have been dead. How dare you act arrogant in front of me!" Solomon pushed forward, trying to shove Daniel to the ground.

But to his surprise, Daniel didn't budge. Instead, he pushed Solomon back, making him stumble.

"Mr. Walsh!" Brielle hurried forward to support Solomon.

Solomon's face turned red with fury. "You bastard! How dare you hurt me? Men!"

He had already made preparations the moment he knew Daniel was coming upstairs.

As his words fell, a group of burly men, looking like fierce beasts, pushed open the door and entered.

"Mr. Walsh, is this the guy?"

"Heh! He's got some guts causing trouble in Black Wolf Syndicate's turf!"
