Luca’s POV
We started to talk about a few more things about some of the things that took place after he had left, nothing serious one bit, and after a little more while, Sofia finally returned and she sank into her seat instantly, fixing her eyes on Armani and refusing to glance at me. The only time she has managed to glance at me had only lasted for a few seconds and her cheeks had pinked a little before she began to avert her gaze.
After some time, Armani started to talk about wanting to retire to bed, and he had already started to yawn a couple of moments before he finally admitted to being tired.
I pushed myself to my feet and waited until he had did the same, and then I started to speak.
“Let’s go find what you’d sleep in, and then I’d show you to your bedroom.”
Armani started to move out from his seat as he started to speak. “Uh, is it my old bedroom?” He asked as he slowly inserted his phone into his pocket.
“No, it’s a different one. Let’s head upstairs, you’ll see.” I said to him with a jerk of my head and I watched as he remained still at first, right before he nodded his head after a fleeting second.
“I’ll be turning in for now, I hope you don’t mind.” Armani’s voice was soft and a little bit lower than usual as he spoke, while glancing down at Sofia who was looking up at him and I watched as Sofia started to shake her head almost immediately.
“Ah, no no… I do not mind, I don’t. You’re probably really stressed at the moment from the flight and the ride back from the airport, so it’s very understandable that you’re heading out at the moment, and there’s a lot of time for us to hang out tomorrow as well.” Sofia finally paused and breathed out a slow breath, and I noticed the small smile that started to bloom on Armani’s face the next moment.
“Yeah, we can totally hang out together tomorrow, I’ll be looking forward to it.” Armani finally responded with a small lift of his shoulders.
“I’ll be looking forward to it too.” Sofia echoed out after him after a fleeting second.
“Also, once again, you can call me Armani.” He continued and I watched as Sofia nodded her head slowly.
“Yes, I will, I’m trying to.” Sofia responded after a moment with a small laugh that made Armani smile a little almost instantly.
“Maybe you should try a little bit harder.” Armani responded.
“Oh, I will. You should too.”
“I’m good at it already.” Armani responded after a second. Both people exchanged a few more words back and forth until after about a couple of moments, and at this point, I was already heading towards the entrance or the dining room, Witt Armani a little bit behind me.
“Good night, Sofia. Thank you for the warm, enthusiastic welcome.” Armani called out and I watched as Sofia giggled a little, warm color flooding her cheeks almost immediately.
“You’re welcome, it was nothing. Also, have a good night’s rest, Armani.” She echoed out after a fleeting moment and it didn’t take any longer for me to walk through the two doors, along with Armani, and the dining room doors slid close in the next moment.
I hummed a little as I climbed up the stairs, listening to Armani’s light footsteps as he fell into steps behind me as it seemed. By the time I was at the top of the stairs, Armsni was now walking beside me, with a little bit of space between us.
“You seem to be getting along with Sofia so much.” I commented after a few moments had passed, and I watdvwd from the side of my eye as he cracked a small smile just as his eyes flickered towards my face in the next moment.
“Yeah, and that’s really crazy.” He echoed out after a moment, the small slime still dancing around his mouth.
“Uh, well, yeah. I just thought…” He started to speak once again but I shook my head and cut into what he was saying.
“You shouldn’t have thought that, I was only joking. I know you’d never do something like that, it was only a harmless joke.” I said to him really slowly, watching as he blinked after a moment, and then I continued.
“I was only joking, okay? I didn’t mean it. I trust you, alright?”
“Now, I just feel really bad and shitty for assuming that you had meant that.” Armani finally breathed out, with his shoulder visibly drooping a little. I rolled my eyes a little and started to knead his shoulder a little.
“Don’t be, ok? Don’t beat yourself up over it? You just assumed, and there’s no harm in that. You’ll get used to being around me once again. I bet you’d be used to all these really soon, but for now, don’t worry about it, alright?” I said to him and I watdvwd as he nodded his head slowly, still looking like he was deep in thoughts.
That low spirit mood only lasted for a couple of seconds, because in the next– he was perking up and moving out of my hold to walk deeper into the bedroom which we were both currently in.
“Oh whoa, this room is so pretty, it looks so cool.” He started to observe after a few moments of him glancing at every part of the bedroom all at once has passed and I snorted a little, still watching as he quickly moved towards the table inside of the room and pulled open one of the drawers beneath the table. He turned around to peer at me above his shoulder, right before he started to speak.
“It’s empty here, it’s all empty.” He commented and I I nodded my head instantly.
“Yeah, it really is. Nothing’s really in here.” I informed him after a moment had passed and he was still staring at me like he expected me to say something more.
“What about some of my stuff?” He asked as he slowly got to his feet and pushed the drawer closed in the next moment.
