Broken And Pregnant novel Chapter 32

The door swung open and Lucy came out. She looks gorgeous in her yellow long dress. Her tan skin was beautifully dominant over it. Her shiny long black hair was hanging freely behind her back. She looks like she didn't give birth. Lucy was ooze with sex appeal. 

"Please, come in", she said and lead them inside. 

Kent can't take away his eyes to Lucy. He was guilty that's why he was avoiding his gaze to meet her eyes. His gaze shifted to the small crib where Austin was sleeping soundly. He set a half-smile on his face. He looks like his son. Those icy eyes and brown hair. 

" Take a seat," Lucy said and took her baby from the crib.

"So, this is where you and my husband spending so much time than the office?" Eloisa seems like starting an argument. 

"Enough! Can you have a little respect for her? Today, we are going to get my son from his mother so can you be nice to Lucy even for today?" Kent told his wife while making his hands into a ball. 

"Okay, Attorney Van is coming." She replied and Lucy just listened to them. 

She had to gulp her pride because she knows that she did wrong. If this was the only way to make everyone came back to normal, she will sacrifice her only son. Last night was a rough night for her. She hasn't slept a wink. How can a mother sleep tightly when a few hours left for her to be with her son? 

She's trying to look cool. She's hiding her emotions inside her. 

Kent felt ashamed about what he did to Lucy. He promises to protect her but he didn't plan that their relationship will end this way. If he had a choice maybe he won't take their child by himself. He will take them away from Eloisa and to her father. They're not good people so this was his way of protecting her.

Eloisa broke the silence between them.

"I hope Kent told you what's inside the offer, right?" She folded her arms on her chest while looking at her from head to toe.

"Yes, he told me everything. I think about it and maybe it's best for Austin to live with his father since I'm not capable of raising him by myself." Lucy told her best friend Eloisa while looking at Kent. 

She embraces Austin tightly. She's not yet willing to give up her baby since he didn't hear him talk, walk, and called her name mama. If he gets older he won't recognize her as her mom. Poor Lucy. They fooled her until now. 

"Kent, make sure to take care of our baby, okay?" Lucy came closer begging for him. 

This was her last request.
