Yes, Kent knew Eloisa was his wife but how about him as a man? What would the board of directors say if he let his wife handle the situation? They will think that he was not a man. He's afraid to face his responsibility as the CEO of Kings and Queens Hotel. 

He clenched his fist and set an angry face at her. 

" But I am your husband and the owner of this firm!", he defends himself but Eloisa was very stubborn. 

They stop yelling at each other when Mr. Paul came. He was Eloisa's dad. One of the highest-profile businessmen in the whole country. 

"Both of you just shut up!", he shouted and when Kent and Eloisa saw him standing at the office door, both of them zipped their mouth and greeted him. 

" Good morning, dad! When did you come?", Eloisa greeted her father? She ambled closer to him and gave a kiss on his cheek. 

Paul Sherlock was a very strange person. He's a snob and always making a straight face. Kent doesn't like him at all. He was only good to him because he was Eloisa's dad, his dad's business partner, and the VIP stockholder of the company, now under his name. 

"Hi, dad. I'm sorry, we didn't hear you. Why you didn't tell---", he stops when his father-in-law didn't let him finish. He made a quiet sign. 

" Enough! I can't help your company anymore. I heard bad reviews about your management and if I take back my share, I want you to make my daughter the new CEO! Do you understand?", he said and Kent won't allow it. 

This company was his life. He sacrificed everything even his happiness to manage this on his own. 

"But Dad, I'm handling it better. Let me handle it. Eloisa didn't know anything about business!", he added. 

Eloisa heard it and she reacted. 

" What? Remember, we both graduated in Business Management!", she told her husband. 

Paul decided to tell Kent the truth. 

"Your dad sold this to me a long time ago. I want to keep this secret but I had to choose. I let you handle it since your my daughter's husband but it's not improving. You see Gale and his wife penthouse, it's getting famous!", Mr. Sherlock said. 

Kent didn't want to believe what he list heard today. His dad lied to him. How can he waste everything?

He decided to leave.

" I just need fresh air, excuse me!", he uttered and passed between them.

Lucy stood up and fix her dress. 

" What happened to you, Gale? Have you lost your mind?", she yelled at him. 

Gale just realized what he did was wrong. It was his desire for her that made him act llike a shit. 

He begs for her. 

"I'm so sorry. I hope you understand. I think let's keep a distance first!", He said and walked out from the library. 

Lucy's body was trembling after the incident. She can't believe that Gale would do that to her.
