Grace, beaming with pride, interrupted, “My grandson, marrying such a wonderful girl like Elaine? It’s all thanks to me! When I saw her in the hospital. I knew right away she was the one. If I hadn’t made the move, Kingsley might have ended up a bachelor forever.” 

Shirley, chuckling, said. “Alright, alright, the credit goes to you!” 

Grace beamed, clearly enjoying the moment. “My instincts are just that good?” 

Elaine smiled at the exchange, appreciating the warm atmosphere and how everyone got along so well. After Maxton and the others left, Kingsley took Elaine back to their room. 

Elaine rubbed her hands together, shivering slightly. “It’s so cold.” 

Thankfully, there was heating in the house.
