Kandy's POV

5 days since I and Derrick finished our project was done.

5 days I've been crying in my room.

5 days since I slapped him.

5 days since he said he was done with me.

5 days since I've been heartbroken.

Everyone that knew that we were together could feel the tension in the air. Whenever we were around each other we wouldn't make eye contact, we wouldn't talk, we wouldn't do anything relationship-wise and Ally saw this questioning me. I told her everything and she told me he would come around eventually and that love will find its way. I sighed at her and nodded. She was the only friend I had since Matt left and gotten married. Now he is away living the life he always imagined and I am happy for him.

Right now everyone was getting ready and we were going on the beach at their family vacation home to chill out and have fun. I hadn't put on my swimsuit and wanted to wait till I got to the beach. Ally thought this would be a good idea she had invited some of her friends from class, Jordan and Liam also invited some of the people there ages most woman and some males this would a be a beach party full of people.

We rented two vans to take us there some persons went in one and the rest went in the next we got in I sat on the side of Ally and some guy I don't know, Jordan in front of me but I don't move my head to look up at him instead I pretended like I was so busy in my phone that I couldn't pay attention to anything. Until we came to the stop in front of this huge log cabin house.

Everyone rushed out of the house with all their beach chairs and everything setting it up. I went in the house looking inside for a space that I can get ready since everyone had on their swimsuits but I walked upstairs to see a master bedroom with a bathroom. I took off my clothes and put on a two-piece red and black looking in the mirror. I looked kind of cute. I walked downstairs seeing Jordan standing next to the drink table with a blonde hair woman clinging on to him like she wanted to know the mystery behind him, he saw my glaze on him and I looked away if he wanted to flirt with her. I guess that means I can flirt with someone too. I looked for Ally to see that she was with Liam and some other guys and girls talking. I walked up to them sitting on the side of her.

"Is this seat taken."

"No Kandy come sit, you'll this is my best friend Kandy."

"Hey I'm Kaiden." The dark-haired boy said,

"Would you like to come with me to get some food?"

I smiled, "Yeah sure."We walked towards the house where we got a plate of food and sat on the bench next to the house. I could feel Jordan's eyes on me as I looked up at him , drinking down a different drink than before.

"Would you like me to get you something to drink Kandy?"He said and I nodded, when I looked up to see Jordan walking towards me with his fist clench at his side like he was about to murder someone, he yanked me pulling me where no one could see us.

"What in the fuck do you think you doing?" He growled out," flirting with some guy."

"First of all you were flirting with that blonde bitch and second of all I am not flirting."I yanked my hand back. Feeling the jealousy falling off him. That means he still does care right?
