Can’t Win Me Back Chapter 12
As Isabella’s health gradually recovered, the new school semester began. Perhaps sorrow had turned into joy, for her once misfortunate life seemed to take a turn for the better–her career was finally blossoming.

Isabella’s designs quickly gained popularity among her classmates. Many placed orders for her affordable and stylish clothing. Word of mouth spread fast, and soon her customer base expanded from low–end to mid–tier clients. Her wallet grew thicker, and so did her confidence in earning her own livelihood.

Theodore, lounging on the bed playing a game, casually reminded her, “Sis, people only have so much energy. Even if you’re a steel–strong Iron Lady, your daily output has its limits. That means your income will eventually plateau.”

Isabella, realizing she was overwhelmed with orders, leaned in front of Theodore and humbly sought his advice. “What do you think I should do to break through?”

Pausing his game, Theodore replied, “Sis, you have two options. The first is to shift to a high–end market. The second is to establish your own brand.”

Though his explanation was succinct, Isabella, having been exposed to the upper–class world as a wealthy wife, quickly understood his point. However, self–doubt crept in as she wrung her hands. “Socialites and wealthy women usually chase big- name brands. Someone like me with no reputation–how could my designs catch their eye?”

“Sis, even big brands weren’t born famous.”

Theodore’s words planted grand ambitions in Isabella’s heart. “Should I give it a try?” A hopeful glow lit her eyes.

Handing her a client’s order, he said, “If you can satisfy this customer, she’ll surely bring you surprises.”

Isabella looked at the order with some skepticism. “This is just a mid–tier client.”

“Trust me.”

On the agreed day, the client arrived at her rented room to collect her custom gown. Eyeing the modest surroundings with disdain, the client sneered, “How could a place like this produce a gown with any sense of luxury?”

Isabella appeased the woman’s dissatisfaction with soft–spoken politeness. “Madam, while my place may be humble, it is clean, and I promise the gown will meet your expectations.”

Carefully presenting the elegantly packaged dress, Isabella handed it over with respect. As the client opened the package and saw the gentle hue and meticulous craftsmanship, her eyes lit up.

“I love this color! What’s it called?”

“Oatmeal,” Isabella replied. “Would you like to try it on?”

The client eagerly removed the gown, revealing an accompanying undershirt. “What’s this?”

“This is a specially designed undershirt to match the oatmeal cashmere coat,” Isabella explained. “If you don’t mind, it’s my gift to you. But since it’s a complimentary item, it’s not as high- quality as the coat.”

“Oh my, what a generous girl you are! I simply adore you!” the client exclaimed with delight.

A few days later, the same client returned, this time bringing a group of socialite friends. She raved about Isabella’s designs, praising their quality and unique styles, which had made her the center of attention at a party.

“My friends kept asking me where I got my outfit,” she said, beaming. “So I brought them here to see you.”

After just a few transactions, Isabella successfully entered the upper–class fashion circle. Her once–humble apartment became a bustling hub for affluent clients, and her customer base steadily climbed upmarket. Orders flooded in, her wallet grew heavier, and her professional standards sharpened.

“Theodore, we’re not struggling financially anymore. You can now attend the best school available.”

“Studying is like deciphering alien code to me. Instead of wasting money on me, why not invest it in your business?” he tried to argue.
