Nathan stepped back from the banquet hall, intending to find Victoria and console her wounded heart. However, as he navigated through the intricate complex of the Hill family's buildings, he spotted Alaric and his assistant chatting in the gazebo. This sight caused Nathan to change his mind.

He came silently to the side of the pavilion and hid behind the dense bushes. He heard Alaric say to his assistant, "The people attending the banquet today are all business partners closely related to the economic lifeline of the Hill Group. Go and remind Cale to make sure he serves the guests well. I am paving the way for his future leadership of the Hill Group."

Assistant said, "Chairman, we only issued thirty cards for this banquet. However, when the security guard was counting, they found that there were thirty-one groups of guests. Presumably, one invitation letter was used twice."
