Jasper leaned forward, a pulse throbbing in his temple. "Arresting Carl will cripple Jameson. It's a huge step toward bringing him down."

"Let's do this tonight. I can't wait any longer. If you hesitate, I'll go myself."

Axel's voice vibrated with urgency, and Jasper sensed a disturbing edge to it.

Axel added, "I have to rescue Amber tonight!"
