Jasper widened his eyes.

Jasper seemed to have a realization. He pulled her in even tighter and rested his chin on her shoulder. He nuzzled her longingly. "My dear Lyse, you'll always have the highest degree of freedom and liberty.

"Even though we're lovers and partners, you still have the right to keep secrets. I will not interfere or cross the line."

Such consideration from Jasper made Alyssa well up with tears. She buried her face in his chest and started sobbing.
