Chapter 159
The Keith family was having breakfast on the table.
Dirk had not slept all night because Tina got hurt. He was in low spirits and had no appetite for breakfast.
Tricia ate slowly. “Why did Mom fall from the stairs? It’s weird. Can it be that Finley called and infuriated her?”
“I don’t know. She looked bad when she came home yesterday.” Dirk answered impatiently. He glanced around and found Rita missing. “Where is your sister?”
“I don’t know. She has been absent for the whole night. Maybe she is at the shooting site.”
“She knows nothing but acting. Why didn’t she come back? Her mother is badly wounded!” Dirk threw his tableware in anger.
“Dad, calm down. I’ll call her.” Tricia took out her mobile phone to call her sister.
The butler ran into the dining hall in a panic. “Bad news! Master, Miss Tricia, Mr., Mr.Turner is here. He came with a corpse. The corpse is swollen and has a bad smell. Disgusting!”
“What?” Tricia sprang to her feet.
The history recurred.
Not long ago, Finley boldly and arrogantly brought four coffins to the Keith family. Now her husband, Bryan, carried a corpse to the Keith family.
What was this place in their eyes? The funeral parlour or the crematory?
Dirk pulled a long face, got up, and walked out.
Bryan wore a long black trench coat and stood in the yard with a cigarette in his hand.
Bryan couldn’t tell whether Dirk was worried about Finley or not. However, that wasn’t the point. Finley had married into the Turner family, so she was Bryan’s woman. Bryan would allow nobody including her parents to mess with Finley. “Thanks for asking. She is still alive.” Bryan curled his lips coldly.
Dirk breathed a sigh of relief. That was good. Soon his whole body tensed up again..
Bryan came here. Did he suspect that this murder had something to do with Tina?
“Mr. Keith, do you trust your wife?” Bryan asked calmly, trying to sound Dirk out.
Dirk frowned and said, “Bryan, Tina is innocent in this mess.”
“Don’t defend her now. I’m asking about the fidelity of your wife.” Bryan looked careless with one.
hand in his pocket.
