Chapter 78

“Thank you for your kindness, Mrs. Turner. You’re so considerate of me.” Bryan squeezed a few words out of his teeth, pulled open a car door, and drove away.

Finley held herself with both hands in the cold wind and then patted herself on the forehead. Had she said anything stupid?

Bryan was so angry that he didn’t want to see Finley again.

Finley took out her phone and called Allison.

Soon, Allison answered the call. “Finley, what happened this afternoon? Who’s the man? Who’s Bryan

to you? Do you mind explaining to me?”

“It’s a long story. I’m at the downtown square. May I spend one night in your house?”

“Okay, okay, okay. I live in my apartment alone. I feel a bit lonely. Come and play games with me.” Allison could think of nothing but games.

Finley was thinking about how to deal with Bryan.

Allison sent Finley the address of her apartment. Finley took a taxi there.

In the car, Finley put on her ugly makeup.

She pressed the doorbell after arriving at the destination.

“Coming. I’m coming.”

The door was pulled open from inside. Allison came out with a black mask on her face and a rabbit- like hair band on her head, so Finley was taken aback.

“I hope I didn’t frighten you. Your slippers.” Allison tore off her mask and took out a pair of new cartoon slippers from her shoe closet.

Allison looked cute in her cartoon pajamas.

After putting on her slippers, Finley followed Allison into the apartment.

Allison’s apartment was spacious and characteristic. The pink walls, the lights, and the furniture all indicated that the owner of this apartment was a little girl.

Finley sat on a sofa. Allison gave Finley a bottle of cool beverage from the refrigerator and said, “Now, let’s start.”

“What?” Finley took a deep breath with the bottle of beverage in her hands.

“Games.” Allison took out her mobile phone and logged into her game account.

Finley was speechless.

“Oh, no! Don’t hit me. Don’t. You are so strong,” Allison shouted all the time.

Finley, on the other hand, was different from Allision. She was calm and composed, and her judgment was first-class.

She could predict the next move of Allison precisely.

“Finley, please spare me. It hurts. You are too strong!”

“Spell!”

“Painful! No! Let me take a breath.”

Allison fought against Finley fiercely while begging for mercy.

Fifteen minutes later, Finley ended the game with victory.

Allison was the loser. The game should have over eight minutes ago.

Allison lowered her head despondently. “Finley, you’re so awesome. I have no chance to fight back at all. May you teach me to play games?”
