Chapter 94
Beside Bryan was the famous artist, Daphne.
Daphne wore a blue fishtail dress with a set of fancy jewelry. She looked elegant and calm beside Bryan.
“Wow, Mr. Turner and Daphne! What a perfect match. Isn’t this scene pleasant to eyes?”
“I am their fans.”
“Daphne is a good match for Mr. Turner. I’m not jealous if she is his lover.”
Finley heard the discussion.
She was surprised to see Bryan here.
She thought that Bryan had flown all way back for her.
However, she felt disappointed when Bryan appeared with Daphne.
Bryan and Daphne were under the spotlight. People gathered around them and chatted with them.
Bryan felt at ease in occasions like this. He didn’t notice Finley in a corner.
Finley grasped the goblet in her hand so hard that it clanked.
Daphne beamed by Bryan.
“Daphne, is Mr. Turner your boyfriend?”
“No, we’ve been friends for so many years that the paparazzi won’t say nonsense like this.
Daphne shook her head and explained.
Right then, Bryan caught a glimpse of Finley, who was drinking alone in a corner.
Why… why was she here?
Who brought her here?
Finley was mad at Bryan for his failure to see her. Finley gritted her teeth on the sofa.
She cursed Bryan in her heart for hundreds of times.
Finley and Bryan had lost touch for one week. To make things worse, Bryan went to Daphne upon his
return.
Finley couldn’t help suspecting that the invitation from Daphne was a lousy trick.
When Finley stood up to leave this banquet, Andy came over with his eyes fixed on her.
Andy was infatuated by Finley.
Without the ugly makeup, Finley was a dazzling fairy, so Andy couldn’t forget her.
Finley subconsciously clenched the red wine glass in her hand and looked at Andy. Did he recognize her?
