"Alright," Dominic responded, watching Nash turn away. Although Nash said he would visit when he could, Dominic knew deep down that this might be the last time they would see each other.

But Dominic could not let him leave just like that. He caught up to Nash, and even though Nash had refused earlier, Dominic still shoved the bank card into his hand.

"It's all in Birkham currency. This isn’t for you, it's for my grandson. I was too hard on him in the past."

"Don't tell me Orion doesn't need it. You better save this money for him!" Dominic insisted firmly.

"I didn’t believe in you before, but now I do. Nash didn’t grow up with me, so our bond isn’t as strong as it might be with other fathers and sons. He doesn’t turn to me when things go wrong. But if something ever happens, please, tell me. Will you?"

Dominic’s voice was almost pleading, a father willing to do anything for his child. There was no truer statement.

Nina reassured him, "Father, don’t worry. If anything comes up, I’ll let you know. All I ask is that you accept Nash and me and stop putting obstacles in our way."
