Nina, aware of the matchmaking gathering, patted Zoe’s shoulder comfortingly. "Alright, Nash had good intentions that just went wrong. You must not have slept well. Go take a nap, and I'll cook something nice for lunch to treat you."

"You're the best," Zoe said, giving Nina a quick kiss on the cheek before happily running upstairs.

He pulled out a contract and handed it over. "I've reconsidered, and I’m willing to lower the price by another 10 percent. As long as you’re interested, we can sign right away."
