Nina was completely surprised when Zoe showed up early in the morning asking to borrow clothes.

If Zoe weren’t the daughter of the wealthy York family, it might seem normal to ask someone for clothes. But Zoe was really wealthy, after all.

She could have any outfit she wanted. So why was she asking to borrow clothes from Nina?

Nina studied her for a long time, finding nothing unusual. But whether it was clothes or even money, she would never hesitate to help.

Putting down her teacup, Nina smiled and stood up. "Come on, let’s go upstairs and pick something out."

Zoe looked surprised. "Aren’t you going to ask why I need to borrow clothes?"

Of course, Nina was curious. But if Zoe wasn’t saying anything, she must have her reasons, so Nina didn’t press for details.

The two of them went to the walk-in closet, filled with a dazzling array of clothes. However, despite the selection, Zoe couldn’t find anything she liked.

With a sigh, Zoe said, "I think I’ll pass. Nothing seems to suit me."

"Well, of course, nothing here is exactly right. These clothes are for someone my age. You’re a few years older than me, so naturally, you should wear something a bit more mature," Nina replied thoughtfully.

She observed Zoe for a moment before quietly asking, "But you’ve got plenty of clothes. Even if you didn’t have anything suitable, you could easily buy something new. So why come to me for help?"

Zoe blushed, as if recalling something that made her happy, and a slight smile tugged at her lips.

A shy smile like that could only mean one thing, romance.

Nina wasn’t foolish and she caught on quickly.

Leaning in with a playful grin, Nina teased, "So, things are progressing with Mr. Lowe? Come on, spill the details. How far have you two gotten?"

"What progress? I just think he’s a decent guy, so I’m planning to spend some time with him and see how things go. I haven’t agreed to date him yet, so don’t tease me," Zoe replied, her face turning even redder.

Since they were about the same size, the dress fit perfectly. Zoe looked at herself in the mirror, smiling even more as she admired her reflection.

While fixing her hair, Nina gave her a gentle warning. "Even though we all think Eugene is a good guy, you should still keep your eyes open. If you notice anything off, don’t hesitate to walk away."

"I know," Zoe replied, but then quickly added, "But he really is a great guy. He’s not just knowledgeable, he’s also genuinely kind."

As Zoe gushed about Eugene, her voice was filled with sweetness, and she only had good things to say about him.

Nina couldn’t tell if it was all true or just infatuation, but she decided to let it go. Zoe wouldn’t listen to any advice right now anyway.

After changing, they went downstairs just as Nash returned from his workout. He walked over to Nina and wrapped her in a warm embrace.

He then gently asked, "Have you had breakfast yet?"
