"No need," Nash replied coolly. "Since it’s my wife's decision, we’ll handle it her way. Don’t bother asking me for favors. I always follow my wife’s lead."

With that, Nash hung up, a cold glint in his eyes. He immediately instructed Quincy to investigate this so-called child star, Orin. The information was quickly sent to his inbox.

After reviewing it, a sinister smile played on Nash’s lips as he called Quincy. "Based on what you found, make sure this Orin never has a comeback."

"I’m on it."

Dealing with a child star was a simple task. Within half an hour, Nash’s phone rang again, but he ignored it and turned on the TV instead.

The screen showed the breaking news. Orin’s guardian had been arrested for illegal contracts, and his entire management company was under investigation.

The caller must have been desperate, but there was nothing they could do now.

When Nina heard about it from the bodyguards, she rushed home, threw her arms around Nash, and planted a big kiss on him.

"Shameless! Grown-ups kissing!" Orion teased, making a face at them.

Nash grinned. "Orion, without kisses, how can we give you a little sister? Do you still want a sister?"

At the mention of a sister, Orion immediately raised his hands, shouting, "Yes, I want a sister! Mommy, Daddy, hurry up and kiss!"

His innocent words made sense to the adults. Pharaoh shot the two of them a knowing look, making Nina blush with embarrassment. She quickly hid in Nash’s arms, too shy to lift her head.

Pharaoh chuckled, seeing how his daughter was flustered. He picked up Orion and headed upstairs, leaving the two alone to do as they pleased.

The three of them would share a simple dinner and chat about Orion’s experiences at kindergarten and on the set.

Nina was particularly focused on her research into antidotes, ever since Orin had injected Orion with that drug. She was determined to master this area.

One day, while following Pharaoh’s instructions to mix two liquids, Nina suddenly felt a wave of nausea. She covered her mouth and rushed out of the lab, vomiting for a while before it subsided. Even after washing her face, the nausea lingered, though it wasn’t as intense.

Pharaoh came over, concerned. "Is it the smell of the chemicals?"

"No, it’s not the smell." Nina knew the scent wasn’t strong or irritating so it wasn’t the chemicals.

As they were talking, the nausea hit her again, and she started throwing up once more.
