"Who sent you?" Nina asked, taking a long look at the five men in front of her, silently assessing their strength. She figured she could probably take them.

The station was less than a hundred meters south of the alley. Even if she couldn’t fight them all off, she could make a run for it.

The men didn’t know what was going through her mind. They assumed her silence meant she was scared to leave the car.

After all, a petite woman like her, faced with five bulky men, should be quaking in her shoes. It was already impressive she hadn’t lost her composure.

As for fighting back? That wasn’t even on their radar.

Even through the car window, Nina's well-maintained figure was obvious. She certainly didn’t look like someone who already had two kids. The sky had already darkened, and this alley was empty except for these men, leaving them free to do as they pleased.

One of the men grinned and looked at their leader, barely able to contain himself. “Boss, mind if we get a little fun after you’re done?”

Before he could finish, Nina shoved the door open, slamming it right into his face, sending him stumbling back with a nosebleed. As he groaned in pain, she quickly raised her leg and delivered a swift kick to the jaw of the man next to him, catching him off guard and sending him sprawling to the ground.

In just seconds, two of them were down, leaving three still standing. The leader’s smirk vanished, his face contorting with rage. "Nina, you’ve got a death wish! I was going to let you walk away, but since you’re so eager—"

She swung another punch at him, not giving him a chance to finish. Nina had no time for their threats or posturing. She just wanted to wrap this up and get back home with the food she had promised Orion. He would be starving by now.

The leader dodged to the side, narrowly avoiding her hit. Seeing she wasn’t the delicate woman he’d assumed, his eyes narrowed. He signaled to his remaining two men. "All right, the three of us together!"
