Nina froze. This was not the first time Nash had brought this up.

Nash furrowed his brows, "Did not you hire Serene to reduce your workload? Why is there still so much pressure?"

"Maybe I’m just too much of a perfectionist." That was all Nina could say, and she did not even dare to look at him.

Nash seemed displeased, "Why does it sound like you don't want to deal with these matters by my side and are deliberately finding excuses?"

Nash ate with relish. He even complimented her, "You're quite the chef."

Nina did not respond. She thought the standoff between her and Nash could not last much longer. The time she could cook for him was running short.

Nash noticed her silence, “You don’t need to go to the office tomorrow, I’ll take you shopping for a few outfits.”

“Get some sleep early, I’ll come in a bit.”

“Nash, is this your new girlfriend?”

Nash’s lips slowly moved, “Not a girlfriend. She is my wife.”

Nina was shocked that he had acknowledged her status in front of a business partner.
