Naturally, the books she bought could not be sent to her home, so she could only have them sent to Yvonne's place. She asked her to help with receiving them, and when she had time, she could go and see her, and take a look. She sent Yvonne a message to remind her.

Yvonne replied, "Got it! When you send it to my place, I'll take a look too. Pregnant women should eat healthily to keep you and the baby well."

Yvonne was devoted to her and had her best interests at heart. Nina could not help but smile.

"What are you smiling about?" Before she knew it, Nash had come in.

Nina looked up to see him, immediately deleted the message she had sent, and turned off her phone. "Nothing."

Nash saw her fiddling with her phone then abruptly closing it, her expression shifting. He prodded, "Who were you texting?"

"Yvonne."

"What are you chatting about that's making you so happy?" Nash asked with concern as he took off his clothes.

Nina did not want him to have any suspicions, so she continued to fabricate, "Yvonne told me about some ridiculous thing she encountered today. I found it quite amusing, so I laughed."

Nash hung up his clothes and walked over to Nina.

"In the past, whenever I worked long hours, you used to give me back massages. Why the change now?" Nash was not fond of her growing distance. She seemed less caring and attentive, leaving him feeling a sense of disconnection.

Nina paused, pursing her lips in silence.

Nash did not press further. Thinking that she had not eaten much at her parents' house, he squinted and casually asked, "Your diet has changed lately. You used to be all about that salmon sashimi your parents whipped up, but you didn't touch any today."

Nina's expression shifted immediately. Being pregnant often meant steering clear of raw or undercooked seafood. Even though she used to be a big fan, she could not indulge now.

Pregnant women had to be mindful of what they ate.
