Kate turned to Nina and Angel. "Thanks to both of you, we've managed to restore Starry Sky TV station’s reputation."

Angel, being praised for the first time, blushed a little. "Chief Editor, we just reported the truth. As long as it didn’t affect the station, that’s what matters."

Kate looked at them, erasing their worries. "Remember, our job is to pursue the truth and reveal it. You did the right thing."

His tone was harsh, even angry, but it made Nina pause. She stared into his eyes, trying to discern if he was being genuine.

Was it possible to trust him? From the urgency in his eyes, she could tell he was really worried about her. But what did that mean?
