Nina's face turned pale.

"I don't know which one you were, but the fact that you managed to escape means you're not ordinary!" Scarlett said. "Wilfred is risking everything to protect you so you absolutely cannot die. This is his wish, and I'll make sure it happens."

Nina clenched her fists, her eyes filled with complex emotions before they turned cold again. "Is that why you came here today? Just to tell me this?"

"Don’t call me Ivy!" she shouted. "My name is Nina, not Ivy. Neither you nor Wilfred should call me that. If both of you had stayed away from me from the start, none of this would have happened."

Scarlett felt hurt by Nina's words but could not argue with her. Without that poison, none of this would have happened. Wilfred would not be in this situation. It was all her fault.
