The driver knocked Miranda unconscious, and slung her over his shoulder. He then got out of the car, and moved to another vehicle, disappearing from sight.

Nina was unconscious but vaguely felt the jostling, which almost made her vomit. When she woke up, she found her hands and feet bound and smelled a strong odor of gasoline. She was in a wooden house, and it seemed like there was someone else tied to the pillar behind her.

Straining to turn her head, she saw the edge of the other person's clothes and recognized who it was.

Miranda!

Nina furrowed her brows.

Why was she tied up with Miranda?

Where were they?

Despite her panic, Nina forced herself to stay calm.

Since she and Miranda were both bound, it was clear that their captor was an enemy of them both, ruling out the possibility that Miranda had orchestrated this.

"Who is it? Who kidnapped me?" she shouted.

Miranda woke up, tense and alert, looking around warily. She struggled against her bonds.

Nina pursed her lips, reluctant to talk to Miranda but needing to warn her. "Don't move, there's someone behind you!"

Miranda finally noticed Nina behind her. "Nina?"

"You're here too. Who kidnapped me? Are you jealous of me and did this on purpose?" Miranda immediately accused her. "Are you crazy?"

"Can you use your brain for once?" Nina snapped, losing patience. "I'm tied up too!"

Miranda was flustered, unable to stay calm. "Who on earth kidnapped me? Do they know who I am?"

The door opened, and they heard exaggerated laughter.

"Well done, you've got them both!"

A man with a scarred face walked in, and Nina recognized him from her previous kidnapping. It was the same man.

Sawyer glared at them with hatred. "Nash dared to destroy my base, so I'll make sure he loses everything!"

"It's you, Sawyer!" Miranda's expression changed. "Kidnapping Nina is one thing, but why me?"

Sawyer looked at Miranda with even more hatred. "You ask me? Ask your dear father what he did!"

"How dare you! It was you who betrayed us, and now you blame my father? Neither he nor Nash will let you get away with this!"
