"Mom, it's delicious." To him, milk was the best treat, and he contentedly licked his lips.

Chana wiped his mouth gently. "Do you like the handsome uncle?" she asked.

Nina opened it to find Carl's messy handwriting. The letter read, "Nina, I'm leaving. You said some things that made me realize I need to strive for our country's revival. Personal grudges are insignificant compared to the nation. I won't be staying with you. I hope we meet again someday. Thank you for everything."
