"I'm glad you understand. When you last saw your brother, did you learn much about the people around him?" Pharaoh asked, pursing his lips.

Ivy's heart raced. Why was Pharaoh asking this? Had he met Nina?

"Father, why do you ask?" Ivy asked cautiously, testing the waters. After all, such questions didn't come out of nowhere.

"Today, I saw a woman who claimed to be close to your brother," Pharaoh said softly.

Ivy's nails dug into her palms. She was certain now that Nina couldn't be allowed to simply endure torture. She needed to ensure that Nina vanished from this world entirely after suffering unimaginable torment.

"Father, I've only been back a short while, and I don't think my brother likes me very much. I don't know much about his decisions or the people around him," Ivy replied, keeping her head down.

Pharaoh didn't press further. After a few seconds, he asked, "Have you mastered your shooting skills?"

"Yes, Father. I've learned everything from Wes," Ivy confirmed.

"Good. I have other matters to attend to. If you need anything, let me know," Pharaoh said.

"Understood," Ivy responded.
