After a moment of silence, Nash replied hoarsely, "Nina is my wife." This wasn't a declaration of ownership.

Scott had lost his memory, but the only thing he remembered was Nina. Although Nash had considered the worst outcome which was his own death and the possibility of Scott and Nina ending up together, he loved Nina too much to let her go.

Scott didn't respond. Fragments of memories flashed through his mind, but they were too quick for him to grasp. His memories of Nina were blank. He didn't recognize Nash either.

Nash's words left him at a loss for how to respond because he realized he had fallen for a married woman, and yet, Nash hadn’t lashed out at him. It was unbelievable!

"I know you're confused. But you don't need to be. You knew Nina before me. You were her neighbor and her older brother figure," Nash explained.

When he saw Scott happily talking with Nina, he had Quincy investigate Scott. At one point, he even suspected that Scott was Zac.

"And Nina?" Scott asked.

His lost memories didn't bother him much. Some things were meant to be. But he wanted to see this woman who lingered in his mind. And understand the situation they were in.

"You were just rescued, but Nina is still in danger. Take care of yourself and, when Nina is out, I’ll make sure you meet her," Nash said.

Scott didn't say anything. For now, he had to accept the situation.

Later, Micah kept Nina, clearly trying to prove something. The biggest possibility was that he was waiting for Wilfred.

So, Seth had stationed many men at various exits. Wilfred’s appearance confirmed his suspicions. There was no way he would let Wilfred meet Micah.

Meanwhile, Micah held out a phone to Nina. "Aren’t you going to call Nash?"

Seeing the phone, Nina knew Micah’s so-called kindness was just an attempt to use her to provoke Nash. She turned her head away, ignoring Micah.

Unfazed, Micah moved in front of her again. "Aren’t you two deeply in love? I’m giving you a chance to call him, and you’re not taking it?"
