Nina had never seen the Pharaoh without his mask. But now, the Pharaoh stood beside Micah, his eyes deeply fixed on her.

She averted her gaze. "I don’t plan on returning to the Yaren tribe," she said calmly, not intending to acknowledge the Pharaoh or her connection to the tribe. Her tone was cold and detached.

Nash put his arm around her shoulder. Though he said nothing, his determined look made it clear that he supported her decision completely. He would stand by her no matter what.

The Pharaoh, trembling, took a step towards Nina. "Ivy…" he croaked, his voice choked with emotion.

Nina waved him off. "My name is Nina," she corrected. His voice made Nina feel uncomfortable, as if a heavy stone was pressing on her chest, making it hard to breathe. Emotions and attitudes can change over time, but this reunion was difficult for both of them.

The Pharaoh had imagined many scenarios of their reunion, including the possibility of Nina's coldness. But now, facing it, he couldn't deny how much it hurt. Seeing her like this was painful for him.

The only way he thought he could make amends was through material gifts. At his signal, a servant brought forward a chest filled with jewels and gold, along with a bank card from the Pharaoh himself.

"This is from me. You…" the Pharaoh began.

Seeing Nina's reluctance, Micah stepped forward. He had always felt a connection to her, and now that he knew for sure she was Ivy, he wanted to get closer. However, when he saw the indifference and estrangement in her eyes, he hesitated and withdrew his hand.

"My father's name is Zion Walker," Nina stated firmly, refusing to acknowledge the Pharaoh or even Micah.

She pushed Nash away and walked off, knowing that Micah and the Pharaoh had other motives for their visit. The Pharaoh watched her retreating figure with a growing sense of urgency and wanted to follow, but Nash blocked his way.

"She has made her stance clear. If you have nothing else to discuss, you should leave," Nash said coldly, standing firm to protect Nina from any further distress.

Micah stepped in. "There is more. The Yaren tribe is being reorganized, and Seth has allied with the rebels. We think an alliance between us could be beneficial."

Seth had not only disrupted the Yaren tribe but also caused harm to both him and Nina. Seth was a ticking time bomb that needed to be defused.

Forming an alliance made sense, and Nash saw no reason to refuse. "Yes, we can work together."
