Their close proximity and his familiar build convinced her further. He was Nash.

"Nash, do you realize how cruel you’ve been to me? They told me you were dead, yet you’ve been alive all this time and never contacted me for five years. You never told me about our child. Why are you doing this to me? What am I to you?" Her voice broke as she yelled, unable to contain the rush of emotions.

The man's lips curled into a cold smile, "Miss, I’m really not the person you think I am. I’m just here on a mission."

With those words, the man pushed Nina away, putting a deliberate distance between them. Although not far, to Nina, it felt like a chasm had opened up between them.

His towering height of nearly six foot three, along with the familiar build, made it impossible for Nina to believe he wasn’t Nash.
