Ashley returned Zark’s call, asking if there was something he wanted to discuss 

Zark said, “Betty wanted to video chat with you. Nothing special 

Both Ashley and Zark had work to do, so they didn’t chat for a long time. 

After hanging up, Ashley grabbed her car keys, went downstairs, and drove to the company. She and Tim arrived at the company parking lo almost simultaneously.

But even if they weren’t living together, the fact that they were in the same car meant Chase would go to pick Tanya up early in the morning. 

Even with a chauffeur on standby, Chase insisted on driving Tanya himself, inconvenience be damned. 

Their relationship was just as good as ever. 

Betty’s birthday was the day after tomorrow. 

That evening, after work, Ashley went to a shopping mall and bought a pink rabbit plush toy. 

As she went down in the elevator with the pink rabbit in her arms, she happened to meet Tanya and Miranda, who were about to go upstairs. 

Tanya saw the rabbit plush toy and thought she was giving it to Sam. 

A sarcastic smile flashed across her eyes.
