As Emrys stepped onto the eleventh floor of the Crimson Sun Tower, his footsteps became shaky, and his body trembled uncontrollably. 

Through eyes glowing like pillars of red light, Emrys witnessed a floating cluster of crimson flames. The temperature in this place was terrifying, enough to overpower even a cultivator at the Golden Elixir Stage in the absolute phase. 

However, Emrys had miraculously managed to ascend. 

He was already completely naked, his body covered in red. 

Every inch of his skin oozed blood. He was torn between the excruciating pain of torn flesh and the burning sensation. The agony consumed Emrys relentlessly, but he seemed oblivious, his gaze fixed on the fiery cluster.

Immediately after, Emrys made a terrifying move. He reached out with his bare hands towards the spirit fire. 

Strangely enough, Emrys actually caught it. 

Even more bizarre, he not only caught it but also forcefully absorbed the spirit fire into his body.

The moment the spirit fire vanished, the heat inside the entire Crimson Sun Tower receded like a tide.

Quincey swiftly withdrew. 

Abel raised his head and gazed at the top of the Crimson Sun Tower. He sighed, “What a formidable demonic cultivator. You dared to devour even the spirit fire. How can we allow you to continue growing?” 

With a resounding shout, Abel moved like the wind, swiftly ascending the Crimson Sun Tower. 

The second floor, third floor, fourth floor, all the way up to the eleventh floor. 

Abel wanted to try and see if he could kill Emrys with his own strength. 

Even if failure was inevitable, it didn’t matter. He could buy some time to allow Quincey and the others to activate the Mountain Defense Formation. That was the priority. 

However, when Abel arrived at the eleventh floor, he was stunned. 

Why isn’t he here? 

Surprisingly, Emrys was not on the eleventh floor! 

Abel could be certain that when he came up just now, he didn’t encounter Emrys. This meant that Emrys couldn’t have gone down; he must have gone up.
