“Is the guy you were talking about earlier, the one who’s totally smitten with you, Emrys?” Ameera finally showed a reaction at that. 

Ninette nodded, her voice dripping with humor. “Who else could it possibly be but our adorable baldy? It’s not just me he’s got a soft spot for: he adores my sisters just as mi Even went as far as saying he’d marry all of us, didn’t he, Delia?” 

She shot Cordelia a look, one eyebrow raised, her face a picture of mischief.

Cordelia found herself at a loss for words. 

Is this really the time for making such playful remarks in front of the older folks? It seems that this dirty–minded girl hasn’t lost her knack for ignoring social cues!
