“Get out,” Nyx mittered, embarrassed. 

“The baby’s stomach is tiny, Nyx, Zayne said meaningfully. “The rest of it- 

Til handle it myself, Nyx cut him off 

Driven out, the males looked visibly disappointed. 

Sera didn’t understand what her parents were talking about, but she did understand that her dad had called her stomach small. 

She was not happy about that Determined to prove him wrong, she ate and drank as much as she could until her little belly was round and taut. 

Nyx felt amused. Worried she might spit up, she quickly picked her up and patted her back to burp her. 

The milk–drunk baby drowsily curled up in Nyx’s arms, kicking her little legs. Then, all of a sudden, she transformed into a tiny, snow–white kitten…

The little white kitten had a clump of dark hair on her forehead, looking almost exactly like her father–except much, much 

smaller. 

Her ears hadn’t perked up yet, her paws were tiny and pink, and her round little belly was covered in soft, fluffy fur, making her look like a puffed–up dandelion. 

There was no doubt that Sera was her cub. But Nyx thought, ‘How did a female cub shift into beast form? 

Rubbing her eyes to make sure she wasn’t dreaming. Nyx scooped up the tiny kitten and rushed out the door. “Zayne! Aurelius!” 

The males had been standing guard outside. The moment they saw the kitten in Nyx’s arms, they froze in disbelief. 

“Eldergene Awakening” After a long silence, Aurelius shook his head. 

Eldergene Awakening was so rare that it only happened once in tens of thousands of years. Even within the royal family’s records, there was hardly any information about it. He had never heard of a female Beastman undergoing a regression to ancestral traits. 

Since this was a special case, Zayne carefully took the kitten from Nyx and carried her off for a medical check–up. 

Nyx followed anxiously, watching the medical report come out. Only after confirming everything was normal did she finally breathe a little easier. 

But she still couldn’t fully relax. She was afraid Sera wouldn’t be able to turn back into her human form. 

The little white cat had no idea Nyx was worried. All she knew was that this four–legged body felt way more useful than before. With her tiny tail held high, she proudly bounced around the room. 

After exploring the medical room and the living room, she sneaked into her mom’s bedroom. Feeling a little too full of herself, she wriggled into the corner she had claimed as her secret base. 

en Nyx caught up, she saw her long–lost clothes and random little trinkets piled up in the gap of an unnoticed comer. The little white cat was rolling around excitedly in the middle of it all.

Nyx thought. Yeah, there’s no doubt whose kid she is! 

Remembering how Aurelius had done the same thing when he lost control hack then, she shot a teasing glance at Aurelius. 

Feeling the weight of her parents towering gazes, the little white cat suddenly snapped back to reality. 

She stood still, then shamefully embraced her head with her hands and transformed back into a human, attempting to appear as tiny and helpless as she could–hoping that her cuteness would spare her from punishment. 

yx quickly picked Sera up off the ground. When she found Sera was back in human form, all her worries vanished in an instant. A smile spread across her face as she rubbed her little one’s belly and let out a long sigh of relief. 

Now that she had experience with this, the next morning, when she found her baby had turned into her beast form again, Nyx wasn’t worried at all. Instead, she just scooped up the tiny kitten and smothered her with kisses. 

The soft little kitten meowed under the relentless affection. The moment she escaped her mom’s clutches, she bolted away like a flash 

Compared to the more restricted baby–like human form, Sera much preferred the freedom of her beast form. 

It wasn’t until she was around two or three years old that things started to shift. Human form’s flexible hands proved to be much more useful than beast form’s paws. 

She stopped spending all her time in beast form and stayed in human form more often, finally starting to look like a proper little girl 

By the time she turned eight, as the royal family’s only little princess, Sera was officially crowned as the Crown Princess and named the first in line to the throne. 

The royal members were unanimous in their decision. It was a full vote, and across the entire empire, not a single voice opposed it- 

She carried both the bloodline of an SSS–level female and the royal lineage. She was born a queen–to–be. 

Nyx and Aurelius never tried to suppress Sera’s natural instincts. Unlike Aurelius, who was mature beyond his years, Sera was a bit more playful and childish. But when it came to formal occasions, she could carry herself with presence. 

Just like her older brothers, she was a genius child. She was already skilled at handling government affairs, and Aurelius would occasionally give her small tasks as training, though he never piled too much work on her. 

Most of the time, she had full freedom–playing when she wanted to, studying when she wanted to, staying home when she felt like it, and going to school whenever she liked. 

“Seraphina“” During break time at Central Planet’s all–girls school, a wave of screams suddenly erupted. 

The teachers watched in horror as Sera casually pulled a tiny black snake out of her pocket, making them shriek her name in panic. “Seraphina, don’t play with snakes!” 

It was clearly a highly venomous Black Mamba. And it was very much alive. 

The teachers were terrified it would hurt the students, but no one dared to go near it. They were stuck in a standoff and had no choice but to call her parents. 

When Nyx and Aurelius got the call, they were stunned. They never imagined there would be a day when they would get summoned to the principal’s office. 

Nyx rushed to the school and, upon arrival, nearly blacked out when she saw her daughter casually playing with a newborn

Black Mamba in her hands. “You can’t just bring your little brother to school to play with!” 

Nyx took them home and told Sera, “You can’t do that again. Your little brother is not a toy” 

Sera blinked her big round eyes. “Huh? Okay” 

Seeing her nod obediently, Nyx let out a sigh of relief. 

The kids at home were all well–behaved. Once they were corrected, they never made the same mistake twice. 

In the afternoon, Nyx woke up from her nap and heard Sera giggling outside. Curious, she opened the door and found Sera tormenting Chubby, Sky, and Ash. Even the ferret hadn’t escaped her mischief. 

Now in their teenage years, Chubby, Sky, and Ash were the top prodigies of the Imperial Military Academy. They were tall. exuded confidence, and despite being a few years younger than their peers, they completely outclassed everyone else. 

Chub Voss, Sky Voss, and Ash Voss–those three names were legendary. 

They had even taken command during a terrorist attack targeting military cadets, saving countless lives and earning military honors at an incredibly young age. 

As for Heps the ferret, he was already in his twenties, nearing thirty. Gentle and refined, he was one of the most renowned alchemists in the Empire. 

But right now, at home, all four males had shifted into their beast forms, completely at Sera’s mercy as she squished, played. and tossed them around. Their dignity was long gone. 

Nyx cleared her throat as a form of threat. 

Sera immediately turned her head, looking all innocent as she defended herself. “My brothers wanted to be my toys.” 

It was true. None of them seemed mind. 

Watching Sera wrap them all around her little finger, Nyx sighed and rubbed her forehead. She had no idea who Sera got this whole innocent–on–the–surface–but–actually–a–little–devil thing from.. 

The doorbell rang, saving Sera from any punishment. 

It was Xivar who came to visit. Xivar brought her little bear cub along, plus the baby seal pup she’d had a few years ago.
