As fellow lions, Sky was full of affection for the newbom Kerry. Whenever he had free time, he would always be by the lion

The sub–adult lion was quite large. The newly hatched lion cub was barely the size of his paw, soft and cuddly as he snuggled against Kerry.

The usually serious male lion cleared his throat and quietly turned red in the ears. He didn’t remember what he was like as a child. But his emotional detachment was actually a congenital condition, so he thought, maybe he wasn’t as cute when he 

was little. 

He thought if he hadn’t been sick, maybe he’d have been this innocent and carefree. 

The fluffy little cub grew tired from playing and curled up into a small ball on the floor, rising and falling with each breath. 

Felix was worried he might get accidentally stepped on, so he slowly lay down next to him. 

Kerry was startled, quickly rolling over, and stared up at the imposing beast next to him. 

He looked down at himself, and then at his brother, and finally at his dad, his round little head tilting back and forth as if full 

of confusion. 

Sky guessed what Kerry was thinking. He smiled and comforted Kerry. “You’re still small, but soon you’ll grow even bigger than your Daddy. 

“As long as you eat healthy and exercise more, you’ll catch up to your dad in no time.” 

Kerry believed it without a doubt. 

He was bursting with energy, so he chugged a huge bottle of milk with Nyx watching, and then tore through the whole house. But that wasn’t enough for him, so he bolted outside to chase after little critters. 

He was still so young, just out of the shell, and his body was small, with short, chubby limbs. When he ran, he kept stumbling, not even worth noticing to those little animals 

The little lion cub tackled and pinned them down firmly, leaving them completely dumbfounded, unable to figure out what had just happened. 

They thought, ‘How could such a tiny creature be so fierce?” 

As a few lion roars echoed, they lifted their heads and watched in shock as two majestic adult male lions strode out of the large house. Following closely behind them was a subadult male lion.

Kerry, with a babyish voice, mimicked his dad and brothers roars, and then showed mercy, lifting his short leg and letting the prey go, satistics
