They saw a little leopard cub crouching in Nyx’s arms, its round, sparkling eyes fixed on Kai, as though filled with joy. It was so happy to see Daddy 

Its baby fur had yet to fall off, and it was already plump. Its fur was so fluffy, like a little ball of fluff, and its ears were almost unnoticeable, small and barely visible, blending into its round head. 

Even though they had seen Nyx share pictures of the little leopard on StarNet, seeing it up close made everyone feel an overwhelming impact of cuteness, leaving them in a daze. 

They clutched their chests tightly, suddenly understanding Kai. 

If they had such a little leopard calling them Daddy, they too would show off their cub everywhere and praising it to no end. 

The colleagues wanted to tease the little leopard, but worried it might be shy and start crying, so they stood frozen, hesitant to make a move. 

But the little leopard, following what its mother taught it, raised one paw politely and greeted them. “Hello” 

Its little paw was short and round, almost hiding its legs. 

For a moment, no one could take their eyes off it. Everyone felt an irresistible urge to touch it and wonder what it would feel like. 

They thought, ‘It must be soft and squishy! 

They quickly dismissed their earlier doubts. Kai wasn’t exaggerating at all. His cub really was that well–behaved. 

“How did you all get here!” Kai asked, both surprised and happy. He hurried forward, taking the little leopard from Nyx’s arms, and then pressed his face against Nyx’s for a kiss on the cheek, 

The little leopard, stuck between the two, looked up at his parents intimate exchange, stamping his feet in frustration. “I Want too.” 

When his parents pressed their fluffy cheeks against his, he immediately squinted his eyes, a happy smile appearing on his face. 

“Leo missed you.” Nyx explained in a soft voice. “During lunch break, I brought him to see you. I hope I didn’t disturb your work” 

“I missed Daddy,” Leo said, nodding his little head and seriously repeating what Nyx had said. 

Kai’s heart melted as he hugged his adorable cub, rubbing him up and down. “Not a disturbance,” 

He almost wished he could take the rest of the day off and go home with the matron and his cub 

The little leopard happily tumbled around in Kai’s arms, pulling out a thermal lunchbox from Space Button. It was filled with braised beef. “I saved this for Daddy,” 

He puffed out his little chest proudly. 

He knew that Kai remembered it clearly. He had asked Theon to give him a little extra, so he could bring it to Kai. 

Watching this affectionate father–son moment, the colleagues couldn’t help but feel a pang of envy. 

Some of the older colleagues, who were already married and had kids, felt especially jealous.

During lunch break, he had a photo taken with almost everyone in the department, leaving behind a multitude of adorable pictures. 

When the break ended, the little leopard didn’t want to leave his daddy but didn’t cry loudly either. He just curled up in Nyx’s arms, staring at Kai with big watery eyes. “Till wait for Daddy to come home.” 

“Who’s going back to work now?” the colleagues muttered under their breath. “If it were me, I’d ask for leave and go home immediately”
