The change of leadership in a lion pride was a very normal thing, and the lionesses had long gotten used to it. 

The Great Valley Pride didn’t have any cubs right now, so the lionesses didn’t mind switching to a new male leader. They welcomed the strong young lion who defeated the old king. 

The highest–ranking lioness stepped forward and introduced herself, “Hello, I’m Yaya” 

As she spoke, she lowered her head and tucked her tail to show submission. 

The other lionesses approached, and a few lively young lionesses curiously tried to nuzzle the new lion king and exchange 

scents with him. 

Before Nyx could stop them. Theon and Felix tensed up, like they were facing a huge danger, quickly barking away 

They looked at Nyx in panic. “Nyx” 

Male lions don’t have the word “loyalty” in their 

the pride and sometimes go outside the pricabulary. They naturally see themselves as the mates of all the lionesses in 

find other females. 

But Nyx clearly saw the intense anxiety in Theon and Felix’s eyes, as if they were worried she might misunderstand.

When the former lion king lost, the lionesses of the Great Valley weren’t sad or nostalgic because they were very pleased with the new king

Nyx didn’t notice the lionesses leaving. She was focused on checking her mates wounds, deciding whether they needed any medicine. 

The two male lions had just been through a herce battle and were in an extremely excited state, eagerly rolling around with her on the ground releasing their pent–up emotions. 

After a while. Nyx finally managed to get them to calm down. 

She shook out her fur and climbed onto a rock to look around. 

The Great Valley truly was as rich and fertile as the rumors said–lush vegetation, plenty of prey, a real paradise. 

Whether in the rainy season or the dry season, this place always pulsed with life. 

The two male lions tightly followed Nyx, sticking close to her as they enjoyed the view. “Nyx, did you like it here?” 

If Nyx wanted to stay, they would have to work hard to keep their position as lion kings for a bit longer, maybe even a lot Jonger.

Standing on the tall rock, she could see far off in the distance, watching the lionesses from the Great Valley Pride hunting, chasing a herd of zebras 

It was then that she suddenly felt hungry. 

After traveling all night yesterday, Nyx’s stomach had been empty. She had just gulped down some water to fill up, and now she felt a bit uncomfortable, swaying 

Male lions could easily go days without eating, but as soon as they heard Nyx’s stomach growl, they couldn’t sit still. 

“Let’s go hunt,” they insisted, telling Nyx to stay and rest. 

After seeing how weak Nyx looked yesterday, they had gotten really worried. They were honestly concerned she might be 

sick.
