Of the Internet stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is Claimed By The Lycan King (Kaia). The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to A New Experience. Let's read the author's Claimed By The Lycan King (Kaia) Internet story right here.
Kaia's POV
I groaned, slowly opening my eyes. However, my heart skipped a beat when I noticed Kieran sitting on the bed beside me with his eyes fixed on me.
"What the fuck is he doing here?!" I screamed inwardly, trying to steady my breath. He was staring at me, but in a moment, he spoke.
"Good morning," his gentle voice rang, and my wolf purred. “I can't believe that even now she was turned on." but I lowered my head, and remained concerned about why he was seated there.
"He probably spent the night here. Can't you smell his scent all over the room?" My wolf spoke, but I remained quiet, trying to steady my breath. "He greeted you, don't just stay silent, say something!" My wolf urged, and I instantly shut her up.
"Stop being pushy!"
She kept quiet just as I had told her, and I heaved before raising my eyes to meet his gaze.
"G-good morning."
Somehow, my response seemed to light him up because he smiled, but it didn't really matter, so I tried to lower my head when he asked another question.
"Did you sleep well?" He asked, and time, I answered quickly because I also had a question for him.
I nodded, “Yes, thank you." I paused, biting my lower lips because I was nervous. "Did you spend the night here?"
Kieran answered, "yes. I wanted to watch you sleep. I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable when you woke up."
I hummed, hoping it wouldn't get more awkward than this. My wolf was simply angry at me. According to her, she kept screaming 'you aren't acting right!' What else did she expect me to do?
He itched his head almost like he was nervous. "Um, I'll send in Maria to get you ready after which you'll have breakfast. After that, we can go shopping."
My ears tingled when I heard shopping, and just to be certain I wasn't hearing things, I repeated it "Shopping?" I asked, and he nodded, making my eyes widen.
Did I just hear him say shopping? I have never gone shopping in my life. Everything I owned was either something someone in the pack didn't want again or my stepmom was feeling generous and got things for me when she went shopping with other pack members.
"Yes shopping. We need to get you some clothes. The one you're wearing belongs to Caleb's mate, Dani."
I nodded gently. His eyes lingered on me before he finally stood up and walked towards the door.
Once there, Kieran grabbed the doorknob, taking a brief pause. His back was turned towards me, but he arched his neck over his shoulders.
"You look pretty even while you sleep."
Those were his last words before he left the room. As soon as he left Maria came in. She helped me get ready by preparing a bath for me, and even brought in another dress for me.
"You see why he said you need to go shopping. We definitely need clothes.” My wolf murmured.
I rolled my eyes, and did what was necessary. Got dressed, ate the food that was brought in while I was in the bathroom getting ready. Once I was done, I waited for Kieran to come get me.
The soft taps on the door pulled me out of my thoughts, and a few seconds later, Kieran entered, wearing a different outfit from what he had on earlier. My eyes drank him in. He was wearing a shirt with two of the upper buttons undone and it was obvious he works out.
“I wish I could run my…” my wolf started, but I stopped her before she went any further.
“You really don't know when to stop, do you?" But she just rolled her eyes.
If Kieran noticed that I was staring at him, he didn't act like it. "Have you had breakfast?" He asked, taking the seat beside me.
"Yes. Thank you for asking," I responded, trying to avoid his gaze. His closeness sent a flutter through my chest.
"That's fine. Are you ready to go now? I have made arrangements for the car.”
Without wasting much time, I nodded. And as much as I tried to hide it, I was really excited. I've always wanted to experience the freedom of having to choose what I wanted. And the girls back in my former pack spend days talking about how they couldn't go back, even though they spend most of their weekends going on shopping sprees.
"Are you excited because of that, or because you'll be spending time with a mate who actually loves you."
