Anders Lowry frowned. “Dan, until you clear things up with Yvonne, you really shouldn’t treat her like that.”

Ivan nodded in agreement. “Relax, it’s not that we look down on you or anything. Honestly, keeping yourself alive is what matters.”

Given what had just happened, it wasn’t like Dan could admit to anything.

After watching the clip, Shawn looked like he’d just seen a ghost.

Xander glanced coldly at him, took the phone, and hit play.

The footage showed total chaos—a private room that looked like a war zone, card tables and chairs knocked over, doors hanging off their hinges.

About twenty people were crammed into the not-so-big room, beating the hell out of a few unlucky souls.

And Yvonne was right in the thick of it.

The poor guys being pummeled didn’t even stand a chance. The worst was when Yvonne slapped Dan across the face—Xander could practically feel the sting through the screen.

It wasn’t just Dan, either; everyone who’d been with him took a beating, courtesy of Yvonne.

Listening to the shouts and commotion in the video, Shawn shivered. “Man, thank God we bailed when we did.”
