Pierre pressed down on his injured spot. It’s probably fractured. The pain was stopping him from standing up, and all he could do was to press down on it. A while later, the pain subsided, so he struggled to stand up. When he looked at the accident spot, Juniper was nowhere to be found. Selena must have taken her to the hospital.

“Just stay here, sir. You don’t want to hurt yourself again.”
