"Um..." Lachlan looked at the phone that had just been hung up, feeling frustrated.

"What are you talking about? If she was my old lover, would I dare to answer the phone in front of you?" Lachlan said while sweating profusely on his forehead.

Hearing this response, Miranda glared at him, "Then how do I know for sure? Maybe you don't care about me so much that you're not afraid of me finding out."

Lachlan felt wronged and said, "Honey! How could you say that I don't care about you?! Can't you feel it yourself? If you say things like this then my heart will be too cold!"
