Chapter 1097 Twin Brother
Cherise's lips formed a tight line. It was her first time witnessing Damien display such tenderness towards someone other than their loved ones after so many years. Though she conceded that Colin didn't appear as threatening as others they'd encountered… he had still threatened them and bore ties to Jude.

"Perhaps he truly is my long-lost twin," Damien chuckled softly as he carefully settled Colin onto the sofa. "Let's just say I feel a certain kinship with someone who resembles me."

Cherise remained silent, her thoughts racing as she settled Beckham onto the sofa beside Colin. She turned her attention to Colin, observing him closely. When he was asleep, the resemblance to Damien was uncanny. She pursed her lips, then glanced up at Damien. "Darling, do you really have a twin brother?" The similarity between the two men was striking, to say the least.

"I can't say for certain," Damien replied, squinting slightly. Sitting on the nearby sofa, he pulled out his phone, snapped a picture of Colin, and sent it to Maeve.

Shortly after, Maeve called him. "Are you sure the person in the photo you sent me isn't you?"

"Absolutely," Damien affirmed with a shrug. "I can video call you now if you'd like."

"No need," Maeve responded, her lips pursed in thought. "When you were born, I was only five years old and at Grandpa's house. Mom underwent premature labor with you while Dad was away on a business trip abroad. Upon hearing about Mom going into labor, he rushed back on an overnight flight..."

"During Mom's hospitalization, Uncle Raymond handled everything until you were born," Maeve continued, her voice pausing briefly. "As for the rest, I'm uncertain. But I don't recall anyone mentioning you had a twin."
